Belly of the Beast

What exactly is Belly of the Beast? Is the site specific structure a furry cousin of the Brick Bay tower or perhaps a Kakahu or cloak? The folly consists of a twelve metre high tower clad in tyre tread shingles, utilising a sustainability ethos of  ‘materials in transit’,  meaning that  all of the components of the structure continue on to second lives post exhibition. 

Open daily, 10 am - 5 pm, free admission, entrance from The Glass House.
